What better way to celebrate Founders Day than with a tree planting in honor of Colette Sheehy, Senior Vice President for Operations and State Government Relations! As Colette winds down her more than 4 decades of dedicated service with UVA and looks towards retirement in June, we are excited to have her legacy live on with a Jefferson Elm on the East Rotunda.

Graphic: UVA Research Computing Exhibition 2025; April 23; 10 AM - 2 PM; Newcomb Hall Ballroom; All are Welcome
I hope staff, faculty, and students will join ITS for its 2nd Annual UVA Research Computing Poster Exhibition next Wednesday, April 23, in the Newcomb Hall Ballroom. From 10 AM to 2 PM, this collaborative event will feature Lightning Talks and research posters from graduate and postdoctoral students and trainees highlighting how UVA’s Research Computing resources have supported their work. The exhibition is made possible thanks to the partnership and dedication of our colleagues in ITS—especially those working behind the scenes to provide the infrastructure, tools, and expertise that make research computing possible at UVA.
