Congratulations to The Cornerstone Program on 10 years of exceptional, changemaking projects and mentoring! It was a privilege to share the stage with this latest cohort of graduates and celebrate their successes. Also, most deserving of special recognition is HR's Director of Talent Management Carolyn Cullen, for her incredible work over the past decade to establish a career development program into an authentic “cornerstone” of excellence for our employees!

Fall marks one of the times of year when UVA demonstrates its strong commitment to supporting the nonprofit organizations that strengthen our local communities. The University’s “Give Where You Live” campaign is now underway through Dec. 31. UVA employees are encouraged to donate directly to local nonprofits that serve the communities where we live and work. Thank you to our UPD members who participated in the 5th Annual “Community Day” at Booker T. Washington Park. This event is held through the UVA President’s Council on UVA-Community Partnerships and works to amplify the voices, needs, and aspirations of the Charlottesville and Albemarle County communities. Great job with helping to make a difference and connecting with our neighbors!
