A Week of Treats

It was so great to be with students, faculty, staff, and community members of all ages for trick or treating on the Lawn! A few raindrops didn't stop anyone from having a good time and the costumes were terrific.

Family Weekend was a blast that included hiking and leaf-peeping with family and friends, football, and fun get-togethers including an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast organzed by Alpha Delta Pi that raised money for the local Ronald McDonald House. Our incredible students give back to the community in so many ways.

One of the highlights of the week was the return of the Chili Cook-off fundraiser for the Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign. Occupants of offices in O'Neil Hall, Madison Hall, Booker House, and related areas came together at Carr's Hill at lunchtime to share good food, play cornhole, and raise $650 for the CVC. Marie Pace was the winner of this year's chili competition. Congratulations to Marie and big thanks to Adahlia Lewis, Missy Brads, and Delores Roberts for organizing the event!
