University of Virginia Health System held a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday for a $105 million comprehensive musculoskeletal center. The approximately 195,000-square-foot facility will consolidate U.Va.’s outpatient orthopedic care in a single location. It will include six outpatient operating rooms, where orthopedic and sports medicine surgeries will be performed. The center also will consolidate almost all of UVA Orthopedics outpatient clinics.
